Hello rdevine_az,
Unfortunately, not every universal remote will control every device. If you're unable to find a working code via the search feature, a higher-end universal remote control will likely be required to control all of your home theater components.

John

Hi,
I have Insignia NS-R5101HD Receiver but missed remote control. Can I buy any universal remote control such as RCA 6-Device Universal Remote Control(CRCR6473) to set up for this receiver? And how can I get code? Please advice.
Thanks.

Hello Aodi,
You should be able to use any new universal remote with the NS-R5101HD. Universal remotes typically have a code search feature that you can use that will scan all the available codes and test them against the receiver. You could even order the original remote for the receiver, here is a link to the page where you can order the remote, unfortunately it is on back order at the currently time. If you do purchase a universal remote and you require assistance programming it, please let me know.

Hi,
I have one LG 32LC7D remote control. It has audio remote code for some brand but not Ingignia. Do you know which one is good remote code for NS-R5101HD?
And if I buy Logitch Harmony Universal Remote Control (300i), will this universal remote control work well with NS-R5101HD? Will it have full function whih include setup function as original one?
Thanks.

Hello,
I have a display model of the Insignia NS-R2001 which did not come with a remote. I need to program my Xfinity Comcast 3 in 1 remote to control the audio receiver with the red ok/select button. Please provide me with a code I can use... I have tried a number I have already seen on this site and they are not working. Thank you!

Hello Tristanflynn,
I would suggest using the code search feature of the remote to automatically find the proper code for your receiver. You can do this by following these steps:

Hello Tristanflynn,
I apologize for that, in my haste I put together a pretty poorly worded post. I have edited the previous post to reflect what information I was trying to get across.
If you follow those steps and you are unable to get the remote to control the receiver, it means that there is not a code in the remote that will work with the receiver. The code search feature uses every code in the remote's database against the receiver to look for a compatible code. Every time you press the "CH+" button it is trying a different code from that database. I apologize for any inconvenience that my previous post might have caused.
