I finally took it too Bestbuy since my service plane ends in July. When they tried to send it off it came up as unserviceable. So since they could not fix it they replaced it with a NS-WBRDVD. I also went ahead and got a four year service plan just in case Insignia does this again and they can not fix it. I would get a new one. I guess it must be a better for them to just replace it if they will not fix it. I do not care at all let them waste there own money.

Hey guys
There are some people out there claiming that they have worked a way out so that the Funai firmware will install on this player. Anyone know anyhting about this???
If this is true it's kinda sad what we have to go through to get our blurays to work. It would be kinda funny if we can get our players working better than Insignia themselfs.................I will take what I can get though.

man...............now my 2brdvd is not playing movies. This really sucks, I buy two differant bluray players and they don't play and you guys don't help.
Worst part is I gave several of each as christmas gifts. I hope they all tend to buy DVD's.............

I haven't had any problems playing discs, but I agree that it is absolutely ridiculous that Insigna Support just ignores all the problems. You can see that they have replied to a post earlier in the thread, but, come on guys, aren't you supposed to take care of your customers? Or at least acknowledge them?
