Insignia Voice Smart Speaker Keeps Resetting

I have an Insignia Voice Smart Speaker(Model: NS-CSPGASP2) that keeps resetting.

I go through the set up in the Google Home app, then a dayor two later the front says"SET" and I have to go through set up again. This has happen many times. I have tried resetting(pin hole) and factory reset(hold power/mute button until lights turn amber). 

The speaker will show up in the Home app as a linked device, but also as a new device. I also have unlinked it in the app and tried set up. A day or two later it does the same.

Is this a common problem? Has anyone had this (and possibly has a solution)? Is my speaker defective?

Based on the model# you mentioned - it seems to have a battery backup as it is portable. Can you confirm that it's not getting reset due to any power fluctuations?


Also, how much battery percentage does it show?

No. Not a battery level issue. It does this even when plugged in.
Plus, it shouldn't lose settings from the battery draining.

Seems to be an internal issue then - would recommend taking it in for a replacement as there isn't much troubleshooting we can do apart from checking if the power supply via the wall socket is showing any surges or spikes.
