Today i took my Insignia Voice out of the closet and thought to see what i can do.
I noticed a small connector under the rubber foot left of the power socket.
i connected a ftdi usb and read out the serial information.
Trough this way u found the URL to the swu (firmware file)
I downloaded the file, place this on my ipad.
connected the ipad to the soft_xx_xx_xx wifi that the voice creates
This gave me ip 192.168.200.x
Only thing missing was a gateway, so i changed to manual ip settings entered the same ip as i got, subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.200.1
i then could connect to a web address 192.168.200.1 witch gave me a interface to load the swu file.
5 minutes later the file was loaded, the voice rebooted and all was working.
