Insignia NS-CSPGASP2s in Group

In my basement I have two Insignia NS-CSPGASP2s along with a Sony STR-DN1080 amp with built-in Chromecast and a Google Home Mini.

 

These have previously worked together as a group that allowed me to play music in each of the rooms (and bathrooms) in the basement.  I don't use it often, so I'm not sure when it quit, but the group will not play music now.

 

I reset each of the devices, reset the home and added everything all back.  I finally determined that anytime I add either one of the Insignia's to a group than both disappear from my Cast To lists and the group I added it to becomes unstable.  If it is the only device in the group than the group will also not appear in my Cast To lists.  If I create a group with just the Home Mini first and then add an Insignia than the group will appear in my Cast To list and sometimes the rest of the group will work (the Insignia won't play).  When I've done this I have noticed the group appearing and disappearing in the Home App.

 

Both Insignias are on firmware 326 and cast firmware 1.40.168834.  I do not know if they have been updated since it was working.  Note that both seem to function fine as long as I don't attempt to put them in a group.  But, darn it, I'd like to be able to hear the music while walking between the bedroom and the bathroom and I paid to do this.....

Who do I contact about this?  Does Insignia actually have any support?

Welcome to our community. Having that group fall apart when it previously worked must be frustrating.

 

Please give our support line a call at (877) 467-4289 for some in-the-moment troubleshooting. We'll see if there's anything we can do to help get that group working.

I reset every device in the house and set everything up from scratch.  They ware working again.  No idea which device it was causing the problem, but only the NS-CSPGASP2s were doing this....
