I bought an Insignia fire TV a while back. At some point I lost the remote but did nothing about it as I could use my wifi. Some time after that I changed internet providers disabling my TV heavily. I can only change the input and volume using a remote connected to a firestick that was paired. I eventually put an ethernet cable into it which allows it to use the full functions using the fire TV app. However I can only do this while it is plugged in with an ethernet which I use for other things. I want to know if it is possible to change the TV to connect to wifi while an ethernet is plugged in.

Hi, AngelRichards,
Welcome to our community. I'd be happy to see if I can help you get that television connected to Wi-Fi.
Can you please get back to me with the model number on that television? That'll help me try to find the right process to get this done.
Sincerely,

I can't get the Model number as getting the TV unhooked from the wall is a pain, but it's one of these TVs https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-43-class-led-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr-fire-tv-edition/62...

Hi, AngelRichards,
It looks like you'll need a remote to get that television connected to Wi-Fi. You can pick up a replacement remote here.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help out with anything else.

Hi, AngelRichards,
You're welcome.
You can also give Insignia Support a call at (877) 467-4289 to see if there is an alternate solution here. From what I'm seeing, a replacement remote is the best solution, however.
Sincerely,
