Hey, fellow Insignia enthusiasts!
After helping answer quite a few of your questions about our Insignia Voice Speakers, I finally made the jump and picked one up for myself when they were on sale a few days ago. So far, I absolutely love it! However, I'd love to get some input from you all about what your favorite features are and how you've integrated the built-in Google Assistant into your daily routines.
I just figured out how to configure routines and link my speaker with the Google Home Mini that's in our living room. My favorite routine I have so far is what I use at night. Just by saying, "Hey Google, I'm working tomorrow," it turns off my lights, sets two alarms, and gives me a rundown of my calendar for the following day. Honestly, I don't know how I lived without it for so long!
TL;DR - What features should I give a shot on my new Insignia Voice Speaker?

I too have an Insignia speaker and a google home mini. I really liked the broadcast feature which stopped working recently. I suspect after some recent update perhaps. But this issue led me to this forum which I never knew exsisted so that's a plus.
I like the insignia's response to voice commands and sound more than the google mini.
The google home features I use the most are weather info (which the Insignia can temporarily display), alarms and timers, calling from my address book, and calling my own phone when I can't find it
I haven't done much with routines but you have inspired me to try them out. Perhaps after the broadcast issue has been resolved. BTW, I have discovered that the insignia can strangely send broadcasts but not receive them,
Overall, I enjoy the Insignia smart speaker
