Hulu won’t launch on my Insignia Roku TV

I have had nothing but issues launching Hulu on this TV purchased about 8 months ago.

 

When I launch Hulu, I will get to the initial black screen and then it will close.  I’ve unplugged the TV, removed and readded the ap a number of times and tried any other troubleshooting I could find.  How do I get this to work?  Hulu isn’t running at the same time on another device.  This is really disappointing.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on our forum community and for joining us! Hulu is one my favorite streaming app as it allows me the flexibility to watch my favorite shows when I can find the time. We’re sorry to hear that your Insignia Roku TV is having some issues.

 

Can you please verify if all the apps are working well? Also, can you please share if you’ve done a factory reset on your TV? It sounds like you might’ve only tried to power cycle it. If you require further troubleshooting assistance, can you please share the model number of your TV?

Yes, all other apps work.  I just did a system reset and that resolved the issue for now, but I wonder how many times I’ll need to do that in the future.

Thanks for sharing a reset resolved the issue for you! I sincerely appreciate the update. A factory reset could’ve corrected a software related issue or implemented a patch for an existing issue that might not have been available initially.
