I have two Insignia Smart Speakers with Google Assistant (NS-CSPGASP). I purchased one in the spring and a second yesterday. The older one has firmware 310 while the newer one only has firmware 105. I factory reset it in the attempt to force a firmware upgrade, but to no avail. Is there any way to force the check and upgrade?
Note that I specifically purchased a second speaker to use the new Speaker Pair feature that appeared for the older speaker in Google Home app.
Thanks for any assistance.

So apparently posting a request is a helpful way to force an update! I received the update at the end of the day yesterday and now speaker pairing is working brilliantly.

No, it is showing the clock. I did notice that it showed SET when I first restarted the wifi this morning, but it's gone to the clock now.

So was the question ever answered?
I also have an NS-CSGASP-G that has been stuck at firmware 101 since new. I have factory reset it (many times) in the attempt to force a firmware upgrade, but also to no avail. Is there any way to force the check and upgrade?

The firmware updated within 48 hours of my initial installation. The guidance that support had given was that it should upgrade on initial startup, but that didn't seem to be the case.
Hope that helps.

Yes, after working for a couple of days it switched back to "SET." I gave up and went back to individual speakers because it also made the secondary speaker non-functional as an assistant.
