Smart Freezer not working

The wireless features on my Insignia™ - 13.8 Cu. Ft. Frost-Free Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator - Stainless steel stopped working.  After doing some researach, it appears that this feature is discontinued.  What type of compensation is being done since I paiad for a "smart" freezer that is no longer working as advertised.

I am getting the run around with this issues.  Called Insignia. They said the are not able to do anything becuase the progrm is over to offer a rebate.  The issue I have with that is the the system is still under a 1 year warranty! Was then directed to call the Best Buy number, which they told me to call Insignia.  Went to t a store and asked to speek with manager, and they told me to call the Best Buyt number and ask for a amager.  Getting thrown into a loop.  It is really dissapointing that I paid for a smart freezer that is no longer 'smart'.  False dvertising at its finest!

I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with us here on the Best Buy forum. While perhaps not ideal, it appears that you should still be able to use the control panel to switch modes and otherwise control your product. Absolutelly this is not idea.  I paid for a smart freezer, but essentially that function is no longer working.  If I wanted a normal freezer I would have purchased a cheaper freezer.  What can be dont at this point on BBs behalf?

As mentioned by the agent at Insignia, the end of life program that was previously available for products which used the Insignia Connect App is completed and no longer available. See the post here for more details about the end of the Insignia Connect app. I’m sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this answer my cause.

Does anyone have access to the logs where I called in? Navigating through the BB call system is horrible. There was a rep that almost had me taken care of but we were disconnected. She saw all the times where I called in and was ready to issue me a gift card.
