I need to contact someone in the corporate office of Insignia.  I recently purhcasd a 2021 RV with an Insignia gas range included with the unit.

 

The burners work, but the oven won't ignite.  This is a brand new unit and it has never worked.  I was told I needed to contact Insignia, which I did.  I got the run around from Insiignia saying they need the order number.  I do not have an order number as it was part of the RV.

 

How can I get someone to come out and repair/replace this unit.  It is a NS-RNG24SS9.

Can you get the information from the rv manufacturer? Is there a serial number you can give insignia? Without some kind of proof of purchace there wouldn't be anyway to help you for warranty repairs.

Thanks for sharing this with us. @nckhammond is correct. Insignia will not be able to assist with repairs under warranty unless there is a valid proof of purchase for the product. As you’re saying the unit came with the RV you recently purchased, @nckhammond also offered a great suggestion. The person or company from whom you purchased the RV may be able to provide the necessary proof of purchase. If not, perhaps they may offer alternative options for assistance.

Hi, we have a new RV and have the Insignia Model NS-RNG24SS9 range also. 

This is what we have found out so far:

This is a 'Residential Range".  Meaning, the oven needs to have electrical power, generator power, or solar power hooked up to the RV and running before the oven can be used.

If you turn on the OVEN knob while you have power to the RV, you'll hear the  'click, click. click...' of the igniter lighting the pilot light of the oven.

If you try to light the oven without power to the RV, you won't hear the 'click, click, click...". 

Page 22 of our manual has a warning:  "Do not try to light the oven with a match or lighter".

The same warnng is on page 33 in the Troubleshooting problem of "Oven does not heat".  Probably cause:  No power supply.  There is also the warning again to not use a match or lighter to try and light the oven.

The COOKTOP BURNER knobs will make the 'click, click, click.... noise when lighting the burners IF there is power to the RV.
If there isn't power to the RV, they won't make the noise, but on page 20 there is a NOTE that says if there is NO electricilty, you can ignite the gas with a match".

This is a very nice oven, just shouldn't be installed in an RV.  We have a Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel and it's Grand Design that we need to be talking to and writing letters to about this.  I've already started doing that.

My issue has been resolved.  The stove was replaced and works great.

Please can you share the information with me that resolved your issue with the stove? None of my ignitors are working and have only had rv for a couple months!! {removed per forum guidelines}   Thank You
