I purchased an Insignia french door refrigerator in Oct 2019. The Mullion piece that goes between the 2 french doors is broken After 10 days of phone calls and emails and internet searches I finally spoke to someone today who told me the parts are discontinued. I have searched online and ebay and no parts available.These are brand new refrigerators - they only started selling them last year. DISCONTINUED ALREADY?
So now I have a broken refrigerator and BEST BUY is just shrugging their shoulders and saying "sorry- no parts"" !!!
This is not acceptable - but where do I go from here? I suspect it's time to start writing letters to Consumer bureaus and execs at Best Buy.
Any suggestions?

looks like its made by hisense. there is not much in the way of pictures so i cant tell if you have to replace the door assemble or if its somthing else. https://encompass.com/model/ISGNSRFD26SS9

Look at the column on the right marked "available" - It says NO for every single item. I got the part number from insignia - they could tell me that - but the parts are just not available - that is the issue!

yeah, but if you click on the part numbers is redirects you do best buys parts website, some parts are there. the entire door assemble if thats what it is, looks not available thou.

there is something called a "door stopper" that looks backorder but available, but there isnt apicture, so i have no clue if t hats the part
