I bought yesterday Insignia 7 cu ft upright freezer from Best Buy in Milpitas. It is very hard to open the door. Checked manual and saw mention of hot air pull in when door is opened and note to wait 10-15 seconds to open the door. Also mentioned was to apply petroleum jelly to gasket all around. Did that but wtill very hard to open the door. I have to wait for about 10 minutes to open the door after closing it. Called Best Buy tech support and they transferred to Insignia tech support. Insignia tech guy heard the problem and disconnected me. This happened twice.

Talked with Tech support person and they gave couple of options: Exchange the freezer or return it. There was no option for technician to come and checkout the problem. I exchanged the upright freezer with chest freezer. Thanks to Best Buy personnel for their help and support.
