Salesperson has no knowledge of cell phone spec so he lies

Do Not Purchase from BEST BUY unless you need no assistance from a salesperson! They try to get their customers to buy products without ANY knowledge of the product they are selling!!!

We purchased a Galaxy Note 9 with the intent of giving it to a family member. We asked the sales person on Black Friday if the Note 9 Unlocked version that they sell had a DUEL Sim card holder. They said YES!!!! Now it’s after Christmas and our family member opens the slot to insert the 2 sim cards, and there is only room for 1 sim card and 1 memory card. We went back to the Best Buy Store and were told that the 14 days return passed, but that means that we would have had to return the phone prior to Christmas! Why not tell the customer the truth?????? Best buys customer service explained that they did not get a commission on this purchase, which must be another lie…lies, more lies!

Our Return & Exchange Promise does share that cell phones would only have a 14 day return window. This information should’ve also been printed on your purchase receipt too. We’re sorry to hear that the device you had purchased doesn’t have a dual sim function as initially expected. We understand how that could cause an issue with the use of the device overall. We’d be happy to discuss the incorrect information you may have been provided at the time of purchase with the store in question. Can you please send us a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and the customer service pin off of the bottom of your purchase receipt?  A private message can be sent to us by choosing the blue button in my signature. We look forward to your reply.

Thanks to this Post, I was able to come to an agreement with the store. Thanks to Mariah for getting the word out to the store manager!
