Pick Up Delay

Very Unhappy with Best Buy. I purchased an item way before Xmas for a xmas present for my hubby. 11/23/18 to be exact. Before purchasing order it gave me the option to have it delivered to my home or delivered to the store on 12/05/18. I've didn't want to take any chance of my hubby figuring out what the item was if I wasn't home, so I ordered to the store, which is right around the corner from my house. 12/05 came and status of order changed to pickup delay. Waited a few days and then called the store for more info. The store associate was very rude and only offered me to call customer service, wait on email or to cancel order. She had no answers to any of my questions and did not seem to care. A few days later I decided to call customer service. The rep was very nice but also did not have any info or a tracking number, she also referred me back to the store, to wait a little longer or to cancel my item and re-order. So I waited and waited & called store & customer service in between. On Christmas day I finally recieved an email that said item was ready for pickup but I had to update my card info. I updated my card info and I watched item change from pickup ready to pickup delay within 5 mins as I was headed to the store. I gave up at the point, even somewhere in between made a post on here that was magically deleted. Today 1/04/18 I recieved an email that my item was cancelled. I am so extremely dis-satisfied with the customer service of best buy & the fact that they don't provide you a tracking number and just cancel your order with absolutely no answers. The only thing they were best at suggesting was to cancel my order.......which you can't even do when your item is processing. I even tried to re-order item to be shipped to my home, price went up $30 and they were not willing to even willing to sell me the item for the same amount I originally paid for (yes I was refunded immediately when order cancelled through them) I will not be purchasing online again and most likely not in the store either.....Why? When I can get everything on amazon within a few days Smiley Sad I'm sorry best buy but you have lost a customer.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. I apologize for the delay and subsequent cancelation on your order, and for the poor service you received throughout the process.  

 

Once an order is cancelled, it cannot be revived. Our Price Match Guarantee does not allow up to match a previous price on a new order. That said, I’d very much like to look into your order for you to see if I can find any details I can share.
