Note 9 sale problem

I bought a phone at best buy over black Friday and got a great deal, I asked about the models and got the one with better ram then the others because I like to game a lot, it got $300 off because of the Black Friday deal. Looking back however, I was sold the wrong phone, or I bought the wrong phone, either way it wasn't what I thought I bought. To clear things up, it's the same phone on the outside, but not with the amount of ram I was told it had, it apparently has two models, one with the same amount of ram as the s9+, and the other with 2gb more, and I told the man there that I wanted the one with the 8gb. Given the models similarities, I can understand the mix-up. This never was brought up untill I looked online a month or so later about the note 9 and found out by chance. Is it possible to pay the difference between the two if I return the first since this is not what I was trying to buy? Will it still be allowed the $300 off discount I was trying to buy it with because I asked for that version durring the sale? I have the receipt. It was just recently repaired because of dead pixels so it's practically new, a dead pixel I believe it was sold with but have no way to know for sure this far after. I have the receipt for that too, it was done by Samsung care with official Samsung parts which make its manufacturing warranty still valid.

Re: Note 9 sale problem

Hello, PandaSpace! Welcome to our community.

While I understand you intended to buy a different phone model, our Return & Exchange Policy states that cell phones have a 14-day return or exchange period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

That being said, you may be interested in the Best Buy Trade-In Program. I encourage you to reach out to your local store to inquire about their participation in this and to see what options might be available to you, given the phone you have.

Kind regards,
