Do I have to enroll in any plan of verizon or have a verizon sim card to acquire and use the gear s3 classic lte version?

Welcome to the forum. If you use the the Samsung Gear S3 Classic smartwatch you should have to contact Verizon to use it. I recommend looking at the specifications of the smartwatch.
