Hi there, Hlm71315.
Thanks for joining us here on the forum. I remember the first time I noticed a scratch on my Apple Watch just a few weeks after I bought it, and I'm pretty sure a little piece of me died inside when it happened. It remains my understanding that surface scratches are not cause for a repair or replacement unless it renders the device unusable. That said, you are always welcome to swing by your local Best Buy store to chat with a Geek Squad Agent for more details. In fact, you can schedule an appointment online to save you more time before you head to the store.
I hope this is helpful. Thank you for writing to us.

I also know you all screen protectors available for the Apple Watch, so no further damage will occur.
