At 1:11pm I received an email from BBY saying the Apple Watch Series 2 was in stock. By 1:33 I had ordered it - the order said it would be available for pickup on Saturday. No problem.
Now, when I look at the order it says it is backordered. I get it that Apple screwed you guys over on the launch, but when you send out a notifcation that it is available, then allow an order to be completed WITH a pick up date, and now it says it is "backordered" with no other information on the order info page?? I don't see any valid excuse for that.
The email notification should have never gone out.
Any ideas what is going on?

That does sound like a disappointing experience, and I am sorry for this. I did look at your order and confirmed that the watch is now listed as being backordered. My guess is in the time between you received this email, and the time your order was completed, we sold out of the limited stock we did have. Once again I am truly sorry for this.
