I am looking for a device that a hard of hearing person can wear that will vibrate when he gets a phone call on his smart phone.
A coworker suggested a Health Tracker.
The Filters for Health trackers have a filter fior Smart Phone Compatibility but only shows 4 devices. I am pretty sure the are more than that.
Anyone have experience in this.

Hi there, bobberuchi,
There are quite a few different smartwatches and fitness trackers out there that can pair with a wide variety of smartphones. In my experience, most are compatible with any iOS or android device; however, I'd be happy to help find one that works for your friend.
What kind of phone does the individual have? I can certainly find a few a options we may have readily available online.
Cheers,

I synced my FitBit Charge to my Fitbit app on my phone and tried it out.
Unfortunalty the vibration was about one ring before the phone went to voice maill and it was only one short vibration.
Best Buy has a number of really good special needs phone accessories. the one in the link would be great if it could connect via blu tooth to a cell phone.

Hey bobberuchi,
I know exactly what you mean. I bought my grandparents a similar device to work with their home phone, but I've wanted something similar for their cell phone for some time now too.
Let me know how your search goes. I'll update you too if I find something on my end.

I wonder if they make blu tooth hearing aids.
Two birds with one stone type of thing

bobberuchi,
I was just wondering about that. I don't see anything like that on our site; however, I did find some noise-amplifying headphones. They're a bit pricier, and they're definitely noticeable, but they might work.

I have a Fitbit Blaze and a Fitbit Charge 2. I find that unless you have a more recent bluetooth version the vibration feature is a hit and miss.
(Only use one of them now but still..)
