Keep in mind, you don’t have to limit your conservation to just Earth Hour. There are numerous ways to conserve energy daily by making a few minor adjustments to your current technology.

Here are two quick and easy energy tips:

Utilize Power Saving Features

Computers are one of the most commonly used devices in many households these days, and most users tend to leave them powered on when not in use. By toggling a few settings, you can quickly resume where you last left off while saving energy when the computer isn’t in use.

Most of the energy settings are found under computer settings or in the control panel under “Power Management.” Adjust your computer to automatically “sleep” or go into “hibernation” after a set amount of idle time

Go Green with Special Light Bulbs

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs (CFL) are a bit more expensive than traditional bulbs, but use less power and last longer.
