hello, are you guys getting copies of doom 64 for the switch? you had a page up last week but it wasnt for pre order or sale and now its gone. i missed buying from VGNY because i thought you guys were getting them in and now im nervous ive missed my chance on completing my doom collection for the switch.

Welcome to our forums!  I can’t tell you how many hours I put into playing DOOM 64 when I was younger, so I can certainly understand you wanting to make sure you get a copy to complete your collection!

While we’ll be unable to disclose any future restocks or inventory levels here on our Support Forums, I recommend keeping an eye on BestBuy.com and our Video Games page for any changes in the game’s availability.

since doom 64 was a limited run release there wont be a restock if your all sold out, but my question had more to do with the page itself being up with no option to buy or pre order and then being taken down. if you look at this twitter post https://twitter.com/JPSWITCHMANIA/status/1377869435655032834 you will see 2 screenshots for doom 64 for switch and ps4 that went up, said coming soon, then was taken down. my question is if the page is going back up or if every copy was gone before there was even a chance to buy. several other people are confused and wondering the same thing because as far as we know best buy has not put doom 64 up for sale yet.

While the game was on sale at one point through BestBuy.com, it no longer appears to be available.  As before, I recommend keeping an eye on BestBuy.com for any changes in the game’s availability.

Doom 64 was never on sale through BestBuy.com, nor was there any physical copies in stock at any locations. I know this because I have reach out to Best Buys across numerous states. I have spoke with multiple employees, management, store supervisors as well as "customer service representatives" There are numerous sites that all state Best Buy had Doom 64 "coming soon" and there was NEVER any options to pre order or purchase the physical copy. Because of this misleading and extremely poor customer service. I missed out on ordering a copy through other sites, such as {removed per forum guidelines}. Thanks to Best Buys extremely disappointing and false advertising of Doom 64 I missed the opportunity to purchase a copy. No where on the BestBuy.com web site does it state that there was a release date, any copies up for purchase, and this has been addressed on Reddit, Twitter, and many other social media forums. I am absolutely disgusted and extremely disappointed in the ignorance and false representation that BestBuy has advertised. In my personal opinion I think BestBuy.com needs to not only get the ORIGINAL STOCK THAT WAS PROMISED ON THE WEB SITE but you should probate and offer an extremely generous discount to consumers like myself who have been screwed by your falsified advertising, poor customer service, and complete lack of knowledge from every employee, manager, and supervisor I have had the displeasure of speaking with.
