I cancelled my order and ordered directly through Origin from EA. Its been 5 days and no bonuses from them either. This isn't a Best Buy issue... its EA's terrible service releasing their game. Don't know where others have gotten their codes from.

If you buy it directly through the Microsoft or Playstation store, you get the access to download it.
They don't send you a code, you just get access to and download the "Beta" and "Early Enlister offer" through the store.
Buying elsewhere, you need a code.

I appreciate you letting me know. I will back off of Best Buy in that case.
My story is I bought myself a copy from the Xbox store and got my downloads more or less immediately.
I then decided to buy my nephew a copy but Xbox won’t let you buy two copies (go figure).
So, I landed here. It is not the end of the world with it being a preorder but, still....
Obviously EA gives Microsoft and Sony priority.

Still no codes as of today...nearly 2 weeks after pre-ordering.
Not much confidence left now in customer support.

My 2 challenges to Best Buy are:
Why do you continue to list this as “usually available within one hour” when you clearly know the codes are not available?
Why are you not proactively communicating with customers in regards to what is going on?
I spoke to customer service and they were really nice and honest. The guy I spoke to was great. BUT, they told me if I don’t have the codes by the of June to call back. (!!!!!!). End on June?????
Amazon at least seems to have the good sense not offer digital codes for sale when there is clearly an issue with EA.

Lets be honest, it doesn't take 2 weeks to hear back with an answer or receive codes. Microsoft and Sony both have them, pretty sure Gamestop has them too. If you don't have them then just say so and we'll all adjust our preorders accordingly. This is ridiculous. By the time we get the codes BF5 will be out and no one will be playing BF1 anymore so that code is useless.
Bottom line is dont advertise something you don't have/can't provide and if you do mess up; own it and fix it, not string people along for 2+ weeks with no answers. Pretty sure EA doesn't care when customers (us) contact them but if one of their largest distributors contact them they will care.......hint hint Best Buy, that is YOU. Giving this until tonight/tomorrow before I just say screw it, cancel my order and go through Microsoft. The $10 "reward" isnt worth this and on priciple I'm not going to pay for something I'm promised but didnt receive. Is it a reward for waiting the longest to get your code?
While this is probably not your fault Michael, you at least have access to whomever is needed to fix this issue.

I cancelled. Kudos to Best Buy for refunding my money fast.
I bought my nephew a digital xbox gift card and he used that to buy the pre-order via his xbox. 15 Minute process.
