Dealing with the exact same thing. Posting out of solidarity
They sent me the code at 1am, tried to redeem at 8:45am. Getting the same error message.
Called them, they checked the code and said it's valid, but to keep trying and call back in 24 hours. They said I might have a code from outside my region. Not sure how that's my problem. Also said that since it's release day that it might not work. So frustrating.
Definitely last time I'm buying anything from Best Buy...
