So leading up to the release of a big game me and my friends were going to get (Red Dead Redemtion 2) we saw on the website that you can go pick up the game early on Oct. 25th @ 9:00pm. I have this screen shot saved to my PC and it specifically says "Any best buy location". I did also see that it said "store events are subject to change". So being the planner i am i tried to call the Best Buy store in Conyers, GA.... 3 times... and never got anyone on the phone. This was once on Monday oct. 22, and twice on Oct. 25th. I was trying to call and verify if the Conyers location was going to do the early release. I let it ring for a good 2 minutes on Monday and another 2 minutes on Thursday. Thursday i called twice between a 2 hour period. Both times the phone was completly ignored. So me and my friends ride up there expecting the early release to happen and guess what, this location wasnt doing it. And one of them employees said "none of the best buys in this area are doing it". I'm not sure why she even would said that as it was 8:50pm and i dont even know where the next closest Best Buy is. Either way, left very aggrivated. You cant just ignore your phones. If i had known there wasnt going to be a early release by asking someone by phone i wouldnt have wasted the 15 minutes drive there and back last night for nothing. Thank you for hearing me out.

I'm truly sorry to hear that the stores in your area stated they were not participating. As we mentioned earlier, all stores should have participated unless specific circumstances (such as local ordinances, shopping center rules or other state laws) prevent it.
archangelo - it certainly sounds like a weird situation occurred in your store. I hadn't heard of any other stores reporting system issues, but we will include it in our findings.
Ratedmoney90 - Could you be more specific about what store or stores told you they were not participating? We do want to follow up on these situations as it appears these kinds of releases are going to be more prevalent and we want them to go off as smoothly as possible.

why did my post get moved into the lets talk gaming thread?... umm my post was purly about the poor customer service at my Conyers GA location. They completly ignore the phones. Called three times, no one ever answered the phone.
