What kind of game is Anthem? Is it going to be more like a Call of Duty or Battlefield type of game where you replay the same scenarios over and over? Which I will admit I am horrible at COD and Battlefield. I enjoy them quite a bit but get squashed more often then not.
I only have a few hours left to pre-order and get the rewards.
The videos I have seen do indicate to me that it is this type of game.

I think I answered my own question with a little more research.
I believe Anthem is essentially a single player game in which you team up with a squad of four to accomplish various missions.

Welcome back to the forums. Anthem is a unique looking game.
I’d describe it as a third-person shooter with a mission-driven structure. It is a story-based game, where you play through a scenario. It can be played multi-player online with friends as well.
It is also, as I understand it, a “loot” game, where you collect new items and weapons to power your character up. Please see the product page here You can learn more at the game’s web page here, and you can but it at our product page.

Thanks @KyleR-BBY that is kind of what I was thinking and hoping.
It sounds a bit like The Division. I was able to play most of the game single player but did cooperative with others on a few missions.

You’re very welcome.
If anyone else had been playing the game, please jump on in and give any impressions on the game you may have. We’d love to have some thoughts from folks that have had hands-on time with the game.

It's being released tomorrow.
I know there has been some Beta and early access going on. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in.
