Website problems and PS4 Store Cards

I'm having trouble with an online purchase I made.  I purchased a PS4 Digital Card on Sunday Evening.  Usually, I am emailed a follow-up email with instructions on how to download the registration code.

I recieved a confirmation email about my order, but have not recieved anything else.


According to my Best Buy Account Status, the order is ready to download.  But I can't find anything to actually download and have no follow email.

I have tried calling, but am told there is a one hour hold time on calls.

I have tried going through Chat on the website, but the site will time out while I wait 27+ minutes for it to load.

I understand long wait times because of all the craziness out there.  I also understand the craziness with the website because of the interwebs being clogged by Russian Bots...

I bought his card for my kid thinking like most digital sale it would be a few hours to recieve the code.  Unfortunately, my kid missed out on the promotion he wanted this card for in the first place.  He's pretty disappointed and told me I'm a horrible step-father for not thinking about his needs.

I am waiting for a physical card I ordered the next day to arrive in the mail.  But I would like to find out if I can have the follow up email resent or how to get this resolved.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Although I wish you were connecting with us under happier circumstances, I'm glad that you took the time to bring this to our attention. I know that when I get something digitally, I'd also expect to be able to use it right away, so I can understand your frustration that hasn't been the case here. That's not the shopping experience we meant to provide, but we look forward to trying to turn this around! That said, we appreciate how patient you've been while waiting for a reply. We're currently handling a larger volume than normal, but are working to get to everyone as quickly as we can.


I can imagine how confusing it would be for your order to show as fulfilled, but not see the code on your end. Did you happen to check your Spam/Junk or Promotion folder, to see if the email with your code ended up there my mistake? It's always a good idea to check those folders if you're not seeing it in your Inbox as expected. That said, if you're still not seeing the code there, I'd be happy to look into this further, so we can try to get you that code another way.
