Welcome to (or back to) our forums!  The Last of Us Part II is easily one of the most anticipated game of 2020, and I’m glad you’ve decided to pre-order your copies with us.  I can certainly understand wanting to make sure there aren’t any issues with your pre-orders, and I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.

 

Regarding the emails you’ve received, please know we’ll be connecting with an internal support to look into these emails further, to make sure there isn’t any confusion regarding your order status, or its release date.  With the upcoming New Year’s Day holiday tomorrow, we may not have an update until after the holiday, but as soon as more information is available, we’ll be updating this thread accordingly.

Cyberpunk 2099 preorders being canceled?

Hello there! I received an email around midnight reporting that Cyberpunk 2099 had been delayed (which it hasn't). When I went to look at my Purchase History, it says that:

 

"We're sorry, we're working on getting it to you soon. If we can't ship it by Jan 29, 2020, we'll let you know and cancel the order."

 

...but it won't ship by January 29th since it's not scheduled to come out until April 16th. I've heard from at least one other person on another message board that they're seeing the same thing with their preorder.

 

Will my preorder really be canceled?

Ah , I just saw Sean's post in the Last of Us 2 thread addressing this issue with another title.  It sounds like this is well in hand, then.  Smiley Happy

I registered with these support forums just to chime in and say I too got this shipping delay notice/update. Hope it's resolved soon and nothing's canceled!

Another update: just received an email stating: “Thank you for your recent purchase of the The Last of Us Part II Ellie Edition PlayStation 4. We noticed that the last email we sent to you regarding this order was sent in error. Please note that your product will be available 5/29/2020. This is the date that The Last of Us Part II Ellie Edition PlayStation 4 is available to all customers. We'll send a separate email with further instructions when your item ships.” My order still shows delayed but hopefully that should rectify itself shortly. Hopefully the others on this thread get their update emails soon as well.

Just got the above as well, seems to be getting looked into and corrected properly it seems. Hopefully order updates within next few days.

Appreciate the response Sean, Just wary as my order still shows as delayed after receiving the update email. I know alot of these things are automated and i will rest easy my order is restored to its regular status. Hope to hear more updates soon. Thanks!
