Steam Gift Card not working was gift

Hello I was gifted a 100 dollar Steam gift card and it is saying that it is invalid.  Ihave all of the order information and recipt.

Hello I am having the same problem. I was gifted a $100 Steam gift card as a present and the card is not being recognized. I have the recipt and all of the shipping info.

Welcome to our forums!   I imagine it would be pretty difficult to use a Steam card without it being activated, so I can certainly understand your disappointment with this issue.  With that said, you’ve certainly come to the right place for help, and I’ll be happy to see what we can do to assist!

 

In order for me to begin my research, I’ll just need you to send me a private message using the blue “Private Message” button in my signature with:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number or the “Customer Service PIN” from the bottom of your receipt

 

This should be enough information for me to look into the order further, and hopefully get that Steam gift card activated as soon as possible.  As mentioned, be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature, and if you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this button is visible to you.
