Hello, do we know if this code will be for Origin or Steam? I am thinking Origin, but with EA games now being on Steam, maybe it could be Steam?

It should say the name of the client when you get the code.

What I have done in the past is transcribe the code to note  pad and copied it and pasted it in until I got the correct client.  

Last time I did that I then realized the client name was with the code.

Thanks, but I want to make sure I buy after I know which launcher the code is for.

The codes are generated by the developer, in this case Electronic Arts, for digital purchase shortly before release and sent to the retailers.

Best Buy probalbly won't know which client until then.

However, the last Star Wars game was not on Steam.

You may have to wait until after release and ask others here what client it was on.
