So I finally went to the store to pick up mass effect..

And it was available for pick up. I decided to ask about the resident evil pickup that I had preordered that was still showing as delayed. The employee that I asked mentioned to check the store to see if the game was there, and it was, many many copies. I grabbed it and brought it to the cash register. Now 2 issues. 1. I would have to cancel my online order which I had used a gift card with so now would have to pay the full amount and be refunded the card, sure, no problem. But 2. Being that I preordered, and because I wanted it in store, they couldn’t give me the game for the order I’ve had in for over a month. I decided to give in and grab it considering the store is far for me. I can’t cancel my online order yet, which of course I’ll be doing. But I was wondering, is there anything I can do in regards to getting at least the dlc code sent to me? Really unfair being I placed the order long ago and now they couldn’t even fulfill it with one of the many copies instore..

Welcome back to our forums!  It’s a great time to be a gamer these days, with both Resident Evil Village, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition releasing back-to-back weeks this month, and I’m glad you decided to pick up both games with us!  With that said, it is disappointing to hear your experience with getting these games didn’t go as smoothly as we would expect. 

 

I’d like to take a closer look into your Resident Evil Village order and see what might have led to the delay in being able to pick it up, but for me to do so, I’ll just need a few pieces of additional information from you.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
