Hello! I preordered the doom eternal collectors edition the moment it went up for pre order. It came out yesterday, March 20th with the delay just for it to be out of stock even though it was pre ordered 9 months in advance. They charged me the morning of the release but never fulfilled my order. I’ve been calling for about two days already and I can’t get anybody to answer. Please help Best Buy, I don’t want to lose my order case it’s been sold out for ever.

I am in a similar situation however I did not get charged for the order. My order status is still in "Pre-ordered" and "Will be available for pickup Friday, March 20th" even 2 days later. I pre-ordered it like a day after they announced the CE too. I know there's a pandemic going on which is why I am more leniant but there hasn't been any communication from them at all.

Has anyone else been getting a delay in their collector's edition for Doom Eternal? Mine is still showing up under "pre-ordered. Available for pickup Friday, March 20th". I haven't gotten any communication as to why it was delayed (although I am sure the virus has a lot to do with it which is why I am being lenient). I've tried contacting customer service and they said they would start a case for me but don't know if that will be of any help at all. Anyone else getting any sort of communication for the delay?

It seems like if you went with in-store pickup, it's not looking good.  Mine went from preparing for pickup the night before and then out of stock the next day which doesn't make much sense to me.

I finally got through to my store today and they said they didn't get enough copies.  I asked if they can check if they'll get more or if they can extend my order past 3/28 in case they get more later and they said they don't know on restock status and can't extend the order for pick-up.

That's a shame. I had mine pre-ordered since June 2019 so you would think they would have enough in stock especially with how long I've had it pre-ordered. I'm extremely dissapointed with the lack of commiunication from Best Buy.

Mine has been in Shipping Delay since the week of launch. Got the steelbook and preorder bonus code. I have no idea what happened to my game. I also preordered in June right when it went up. I swear if they screwed this up, I'm canceling all preorders and just buying from Amazon from now on. This was the last game I managed to preorder with GCU before it expired. So I might end up losing a sold out CE and my discount.

Only reason I didn't buy from Amazon is because they were all sold out of the PC versions when I checked. I'm really regretting not just getting the xbox CE off of Amazon and just buying the PC version seperate.

Best Buy staff I know there is a pandemic going on but that does not mean that you keep your loyal customers in the dark who have waited for a release since a June 2019 preorder. There has been zero communication, it is now 3 DAYS PAST RELEASE DATE, and nothing has happened with my order for this collectors edition. I have an option to change to store pickup but as usual best buy has no extra units in their stores to use that option. Nor are your stores even open to buy anything at this point. I am struggling to see how your warehouse has an issue shipping this out. Please dont move this thread into some "solved" thread when clearly this issue is happening to a lot of us who were eagerly awaiting the release of this AAA title. I have still received no further communication for this collector's edition other than my steelbok being shipped out and the preorder code being sent. When is this shipping out???
