It was listed on the game's product page about a month before the game released up until at least a week afterward. It was never on page you're showing. Small blue type under the price of the game listed a $10 Best Buy Cert for purchasing it. At checkout it showed the $10 Certificate as well, as email delivery.
I have not received my cert and on my purchases page it list says "Best Buy GC - $10 Best Buy E-Gift Card [E-mail delivery] Qty: 1". But it also STILL says:

Thanks for your message! In re-reading my post to StormJumper, it looks like I added an extra “not” when speaking about the Get $10 in My Best Buy offers at the link here. What I meant to say is that Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is not listed as one of the games with that cert. Sorry for any confusion I caused! I’ve edited out the extra “not” in my original post to avoid causing any more confusion for future users. Thanks!
As for pre-order bonus for Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, I’ve looked into that game and reviewed the posted bonus. It specified a $10 e-gift card, not a $10 cert, as a bonus with the pre-order. What you describe with your purchase page showing a $10 e-gift card should be what you receive, so you’re on track for that pre-order bonus.
The confirmation that is being referenced is an email that you should have been sent separately. If you don’t complete that step, you should be sent reminder emails for up to 60 days after the order is placed. In that verification email, it should ask you to confirm your email address by clicking on a link. After that, you should be sent another email which prompts customers to claim their e-gift card. You’ll have to enter in the phone number you used on your order and then you should be given the option to view/print your e-gift card. If you’re not seeing your verification email as expected, please check your spam, junk, and/or promotional folders.
With all this information, now, are you seeing the verification email to get the e-gift card processes going again? Let me know, so we can go from there!

For one, I reallllly appreciate that it doesn't sound like I'm talking to a bot right now. Thank you for that. However I still have not received that email (checked spam and every folder). I've clicked the link on my past purchases page a few times and have still not received a "email confirmation" email.
In the past I've ordered eShop digital cards off Best Buy, and it'll prompt me for a confirmation email or text code BEFORE I complete a purchase, so seeing this after I've already paid for item is news to me. Am I only eligible to receive this card and my confirmation email, once the return grace period has expired? I get 30 days to return stuff due to my membership level. I seriously will return the game if I don't get an answer quickly, everybody is kind of talk about how poorly the game runs on Switch and I haven't opened it yet because I've been waiting for my giftcard.

Thanks for the message update! It’s my understanding that this confirmation email process is specifically for promotional e-gift cards where they come as some sort of gift with purchase or free add-on item. I’d guess that you haven’t ordered something with a promo e-gift card like this if you haven’t seen this process after your order.
Regarding when the verification email is sent, it should be sent fairly quickly after the order confirmation email. As you’ve said that you haven’t seen the verification email, yet, there should be a way to resend it. Try logging on to your profile on BestBuy.com. Then select the right order and go into the Order Listing details page. Finally, click on the Resend confirmation email hyperlink. As before, double check your spam, junk, and promo folders. If you’re still not seeing the verification email, try adding BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com to your safe sender list and resend the verification email one more time.
If all this doesn’t work, please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and order number (if available). That information should allow me to review from my end so I can look at what other options may be available going forward.

Did what you said, still not receiving the email. I forgot about something last year, but me and a bunch of other people had an issue like this with the preorder of Dragon Ball Fighterz for Switch last year, were best buy just never sent out the character code/preorder bonus (that one went on for weeks with BB employees lying on the phone about "how you get the characters by unlocking them," then blaming Nintendo for not sending out the right codes, and Nintendo themselves saying it was not an issue on their end and it was the retailer at fault, when you contacted them). Kinda of mad about this. Over the last 1 and a half I've had to call about cert not returning to my account when I've changed my order, etc. Come January, when my Gamer's Club runs out, I have basically zero to shop here, over Amazon, when you don't honor the terms of my purchase. I'll privately message you.

Thanks for sending me a private message! While I cannot change what may have happened previously during interactions with Best Buy, I’m happy to do what I can to turn around your experience here. Please look for my reply to your private message shortly.
