I got an email. Says to change to shipping but can not do that. Only option. Is to cancel. The steel book same thing can not change. I understand about closures and all but wife went today and there are obviously workers inside even though closed. Why can't at the store level pick the order from last June then ship it out? Or atleast be able to put us in contact with someone at the store level?

I haven't received an updated email other than that it was unavailable and out of stock at my pickup location.

Hi, Just wanted to update everyone. 

I reached out to the store and they told me they could not complete my order since they did not get enough units. I decided to leave my order open just in case they receive more units between now and the 28th. If they don't receive any more units the orders will be canceled on the 28th. 

There is really no clear answer if Bethesda did not send enough units or what really happened. 

If people are really interested in the collectors edition I think the best solution now is to try to grab one from eBay. Not ideal but at this point it might be our only option.

I got an updated email today saying it was ready for curbside pickup, but order status didn't update.  I called the store and I pretty much got the same response Chris posted where they didn't get enough units.  This is disappointing, but could I stil get the steelbook for free if they cancel my order after 3/28 if they don't get any more in stock?  They apparently have plenty of those..

I received an update today that my order is ready for pickup after being in an out of stock state since launch day (Friday)!!  For those who had in-store pickup, but had their status go from preparing to unavailable to out of stock, don't give up hope!  There's a chance the stores just didn't receive their shipment yet due to the current COVID situation.  I'll need to verify with the store, but this was a pleasant surprise.
