Hello. I purcahsed a Gaming PC from Best Buy, and it was suppose to come with Godfall and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Bundle. After getting the PC 7 days late (due to Best Buy's delay), I just saw on the website that the order was cancelled. There was no explanation on why it was cancelled. I would like to know why it was cancelled, and Best Buy's plan for making thigs right. The bundled game was one of the reasons I decided to purchase this PC, and If I do not get the games or similar compensation, I would have to return the PC.
Thank you for your help.

Hey there, tim_04,
Welcome back to our Best Buy forum community!
Getting a new gaming PC is a big deal and we are honored that you decided to make this important purchase with us. However, I can understand why you'd be frustrated that the promotional game bundle was cancelled after you placed your order. That's not the experience we set out to provide, but we appreciate you letting us know how this made you feel.
The reason that bundle cancelled is because that promotion ended a while ago, so it being listed at the time of your purchase was an error. While we try to be as accurate as possible with the information we present on our site, there are times where promotions have changed, and we didn't catch that the site wasn't updated as soon as it should have been. As soon we noticed the error, our site was updated to reflect the correct information and we cancelled the gaming bundle since we didn't have a code to fulfill the offer.
I know that isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I'm glad you said something when you were confused by the cancellation. You can learn more about that process by checking out the Information on Our Site portion of our Terms & Conditions.

You are incorrect about the promotion being listed at the time of purchase being an error. According to the Terms & Conditions listed here: https://www.amdrewards.com/terms, the Q3 2020 AMD Radeon Raise the Game Bundle Promotion ended on December 5, which is after my date of purchase, and I assume after the tim_04's date of purchase as well. As tim_04 mentioned, due to Best Buy's delay and inventory issues, tmy PC was not shipped or available for pickup until after December 5. Since I assume your automated system does not process promotional items and download codes until the purchased item is shipped or picked up, your system is now unable to generate the codes, resulting in the cancellation.
I do hope that Best Buy will honor the promotion that it advertised and was accurate at the time of purchase.

Thank you Elle for your responses. Also, Thank you eh2480 for detailed explanation of promotion period.
Elle, You mentioned that the promotion was listed at the time of purchase was a mistake. I purchased the desktop on November 25th, and according to information provided by eh2480, the promotion was still valid. Was it a mistake that the promotion was listed on November 25th? In addition, I was suppose to pick up the desktop on December 4th, but due to delay from Best Buy, it did not arrive in the local store until December 10th. If Best Buy was able to deliver the desktop to my local store on December 4th, and I had picked it up on day, would I have receive the promotion? Both mistakes were made by Best Buy, and the consumers should not be paying for those mistakes.
In my humble opinion, Best Buy should honor the promotion. If you do not have the code, you should provide a refund equal to price of the games included in the bundle. I believe that Godfall PC version retails for $59.99, and Warcrafthadowland retails for $29.99. I would like to get a refund or Best Buy giftcard for amount of $89.98. Same should be applied to eh2480 and anybody else who are in same situation.
Thank you for your help.

Good afternoon, eh2480 and tim_04,
Thank you for following up with us on our Support Forums. Elle is off today, so I wanted to step in and make sure we’re addressing your posts while she’s unavailable.
As mentioned, the promotion you’re referring to is no longer available, and was removed from our site once our internal support teams realized it was still listed as available in error. I regret this promotion was not removed sooner, however, we’ll be unable to offer you a code for this gaming bundle at this time, nor will we be accommodating your request for an $89.98 credit to your order.
I realize this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, and I apologize for any further disappointment this news may bring.

Hello. That is very disppointing. The mistakes were made by Best Buy, and Best Buy is refusing to do honor what was offered. I will be filing forma al compalint against Best Buy, and will return the puirchase.
