I've pre-ordered resident evil village and for some reason on the page with my order it tells me that a release date has not yet been announced for this game. The problem is that it has been revealed and will come out the seventh. Usually when there is a date announced the order info will update to "ready to pick up on release date", however this order has not, I've not had this problem with other video game pre-orders.

To clarify I mean May the 7th, and also on the order page it also states it will release on May the 7th and I will be able to pick it up in person that day

This appears to be an issue/bug with the site as I have four pre-orders that are doing the same thing. one of the orders releases this Friday and started to update to preparing for pickup on Friday. I was able to test this and I pre-ordered something else and it did show "ready to pick up on release date" but after a couple of minutes it changes to "A release date for your pre-order has not been announced. We'll let you know when it's ready"
This is definitely a issue/bug or something going on with the site since it does show correctly but then changes a short time later. This never occurred with any pre-orders i did in 2020.
I have been told all my orders are fine on the backend

Good morning, Darklacuna,
Welcome to our forums! I’ve loved what the folks at Capcom have done with the Resident Evil franchise these past few years, and am really looking forward to Resident Evil Village in a few months! It’s great to hear you’ve already pre-ordered your copy with us, and I’ll be happy to alleviate any concerns you might have with this particular pre-order.
Using the information you’ve provided upon joining our Support Forums, I believe I was able to locate the order in question. While it may not be listed on your Order Details page, I can confirm the release date listed in our system for this game, and your order, is May 7, 2021.
With that said, as much as we would like to, we cannot 100% guarantee any particular pre-order will fulfill, nor can we guarantee the release date won’t change between now and May. This is outlined in the terms and conditions of our site, which you’ll find here. Going forward, I recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox for any updates to your order, and I’m optimistic you’ll be experiencing Resident Evil Village when it comes out later this year.
I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions or concerns, you know where to find me.
Cheers,
