Hey there, Dr_Gibbs,
Thank you for joining our community here on the Best Buy Forums! With the announcement of the physical release of DOOM Eternal for the Nintendo Switch being cancelled, I can certainly understand wanting to check on what would happen with your existing order for that physical product. I hope to be able to shed light on this!
At this time, we should be cancelling the physical versions on any existing orders as we will not be sending out a digital code in place for those orders. Because of this, we would like to invite you to place a new order for the digital copy of DOOM Eternal. I hope that this information helps! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let me know!
Best Regards,

Super!
Thank you for the information and response back.
I'll keep my eye out for the cancellation and then go ahead and order the digital copy.
I do have one final question: I used a Reward Certificate for my Pre-order, is that refunded back or not?
Sincere Regards

Dr_Gibbs,
In the event of a return or cancellation, regular certificates used towards that purchase should post back to your account within three days. On the other hand, bonus/promotional certificates are intended to be one-time use coupons. No points are awarded for these certificates, so when the points are credited for most certificates, there is nothing to be returned for promotional ones. For more details on this, you may wish to review the post below:
Return or Cancellation - Where is my reward certificate?
If you'd like us to take a closer look at your order, please send me a private message including your full name, email, phone number, and order number. You can find the blue option to message me to the right of my name below.
Happy to help,
