Not receiving download email for digital Purchase

Hello,

 

I purchased a Digital Nintendo Switch Online 12-Month Family Membership for Christmas. My order {removed per forum guidelines} states that an email was sent to me with instructions on how to redeem the membership. However, I have not received the email in my inbox or in my spam/junkmail folder. 

 

I have called BestBuy Customer suport twice - once on Monday, December 31, 2018 and a second time on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Both times I was told that the new email with redemption instructions would arrive in 24-48 hours, and both times those deadlines passed without receiving the email. I would like to know if this is a common problem and if so, how to remedy the situation.

Welcome to the forum!  I’ve thought about purchasing a Nintendo Switch for a few of my friends, but I can’t quite figure out who in my circle would actually use it.  I imagine you’re quite excited to get your hands on this new membership, so I regret the obstacles you’ve encountered thus far when trying to activate it.

 

First, I’d recommend adding BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com to your contacts or whitelist to ensure our messages are not blocked by your email’s spam filters.  Then, if you can send me a private message that includes the following, I can try to re-send that message to you again:

 

  • Your full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Order number
