Yeah at this point I'm starting to think I'm not getting this pre-order bonus.

Spoke with 3 people this morning and none of them had any idea what I was talking about. One told me to do a return, another thought I was talking about a gift card, and the last said there was no preorder bonus. I would love my preorder code. It's almost been 3 days since Meg-bby made her comment and still nothing.

Best Buy has been screwing up the preorder codes as long as they've been selling games.

You always have to personally request them. It's annoying, but it beats Target doing the same thing with the game disk.

I know it’s frustrating but honestly this forum has been great since I’ve been on here which I think has been since 2012 or 2013. They screw up a lot of preorder codes but the employees on these forums make it right all the time and sometimes even throw you a bonus for the inconvenience.

I wish GCU was still a thing because I’m buying less games now but before when I bought a lot and had issues, they always fixed it. I think out of the 100 times I had an issue, only 1 didn’t get resolved which I just ended up returning the game.

Anyway, I typed way more than I thought I would for this. Ha.

You still get better results contacting somoene personally, even if it is one just someone on the forum telling you to contact them to get your name on the list. You can scroll back for what happens when it's a blanket "we're on it"

Good morning gamers,

I wanted to pop in this morning to apologize for the delay in getting you these pre-order bonus codes.

While it may seem cliché to say this, I am just as frustrated as you are that this has not been resolved a week from the game being released.  However, I can assure you that no one has been sent codes yet, as we do not have them from the vendor.  Part of what batmanshady mentioned in his post about our ability to resolve these situations on the forums is because we have direct connections to our gaming support teams.  Believe me when I say that they are well aware of your frustrations, and working to obtain codes from the vendor, so that we can get them out to you.

Our original expectation was that we’d have them by Wednesday, but obviously, that has not happened.  I’m being told that we should hopefully have these codes today, and get them processed and sent out to you today, though I cannot 100% guarantee that. 

Once I've heard something definitive about fulfillment today or not, I'll update this thread.

Hello all,

I've been informed that we're just finishing up sending out the codes, and you should have them by the end of the day, if not sooner.

Please make sure that you are checking your Spam/Junk mail folders for that email, along with any other promotional folders your email provider may have, such as Gmail's "Promotions" folder.  If you haven't received an email with your code in the next 24 hours, please follow the directions found in our "Game Codes - Read Me First" post found here for more assistance from our Gaming-BBY team.
