Yeah something is messy about this whole launch.
BTW. To Best Buy Community Managers... why are you merging active threads into locked ones? Wouldn't it be better to allow people to talk in one thread instead of forcing them to create new ones? Nothing there violated any guidelines, it's just bad community management. On top of all the complaints people are voicing, by preventing them from continuing the conversation you just make it look even worse, like you're actively trying to silence them and sweep this whole thing under the rug (which I'm sure you're not, but your decisions make it look like it). I know you will delete my message, I just hope you get it. Thanks (a fellow Community Manager here)

Same thing here, pre ordered way back when it was first up and my in store pick up just says Pre Ordered still, LUCKILY another store near me popped up with a collectors edition copy and secured that for pick up. Just dont understand why they cannot fulfill pre orders. Really sketcky to PO PS5 from Best Buy or anything for that matter.

I pre-ordered the Special Edition to support the developer. Now I will be going to Walmart today to get the standard edition and returning the Special Edition to Best Buy if it ever actually shows up.

We are aware that some orders for The Last of Us 2 have not shipped or are ready for pickup at the store. I have not been given any information as to the reason for this, but our teams are working to find out why they have not shipped, as well as making sure that all inventory has been received, checked in, and orders are being fulfilled as soon as possible.
