Most if not all locations should have their shipments already.  They'll likely start processing in store pickups today and sending out those emails.

Yea thats how it works.  They process the day befoyand you get a email saying it's available to pick up release day.  This is from 6 years of exclusively buying games from Bestbuy.  And whenever I ordered for shipping it was shipped out the day before release with overnight shipping and arrived on release day.

Ah, I thought he meant fulfill the orders (allow pickups) rather than processing payments. That makes sense.

Just checked my status and it says “preparing for pickup tomorrow”. “We’ll notify you when it’s ready”. Still haven’t been charged.

I have a friend who had his Special Edition charged yesterday. But his is being shipped.

for in store pick up I do not think you will actually be charged until you pick it up. You should get a notice saying it is ready for pickup

So just wanna confirm what I was saying before about orders shipping from a local bestbuy. I live in GA and my order was picked up by UPS in Atlanta, GA. This is why I was trying to calm everyone about freaking out about orders not shipping yet as they typically ship overnight from a local bestbuy with these pre orders. Even if you still haven’t gotten shipping confirmation yet I wouldn’t start panicking til later tonight as Ive had orders that didn’t get picked up til late near closing for overnight shipping. Also “shipped” simply means the shipping label was created. Once it’s actually picked up and on the way it will say “in transit”. Track the order from the courier site. Bestbuy may give a particular delivery date on the site but the package is in the hands of the courier. Their estimates are more accurate. It has to update with them before it updates with bestbuy. Ive had orders that were delivered but still say in transit on bestbuy. Either way enjoy the game. I don’t go back to work til Tuesday. I’ll probably finish the game this weekend.

Well my local Best Buy closes in 2 hours and I still haven’t gotten any info about my pre order it still just says pre order get to you by the 19th. Still no pending charge on my credit card either. So screw it im cancelling my pre order and I’m just going to go to Walmart or target and hope they have copies available to purchase. Even tho it’s an inconvenience for me.
