Oh great and mine says it's going to be cancelled today too. What the heck Best Buy? I've been telling them this and they're just like the email was a mistake. Well if it was a mistake then why does my order still say it will be cancelled today? Fix this crap.

Mine came at 11 pm cst (estimated) I guess midnight eastern system kicks the email out telling you the horrible news. Did you get the email saying it was a mistake?, because if you did it seems your order will not be cancelled. This is just from what I have read in other forums.

Well my order just got cancelled too. This was after spending over an hour in a chat yesterday being told over and over by a Best Buy rep that it wouldn't be and that I had nothing to worry about. Seriously screw this company.

Yup, they are liars, have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not one mod out of 3 got back with me or even bothered to read my messages.

If I knew it would turn out this way, I would have just ordered the $79.99 special edition. But that is even sold out everywhere now. I'm not even excited anymore. Wal-Mart CANCELLED my ellie edition. Then I had a gamestop one. Once I got best buy ellie, I cancelled gamestop, because of best buya pre order bonus. Now this gets cancelled. Screw it. In just getting standard copy. In over this bull crap.

Oh btw. You can't order ellie edition online anymore from best buy. When you try on the apo, it says this item is only for in store purchase. They have put a stop to online orders, even if they are in stock, it blocks you. Pathetic.

Mine is cancelled as we it's pretty disappointing when pre ordering plenty of time ahead of time can still result in a cancelled order a week before release. I would've played it safe and ordered it elsewhere if they had said there was a chance it'd be cancelled

Exactly! No warning..just lies a week before it is to be shipped out to most people who only had choice of choosing shipping only because their HORRIBLE ordering system. It never gave me option of picking it up on store. It forced me to have it shipped.

As a gamer myself, I know just how frustrating it can be when a game you’ve pre-ordered is suddenly cancelled, and with a game as anticipated as The Last of Us Part II, I completely understand your disappointment with these cancellations.

As my colleague, Bill, has mentioned previously here, please know we’re unable to guarantee with 100% certainty that any particular pre-order will be fulfilled.  Try as we might to prevent it, there are instances where an order may end up cancelled, and while we would love to be able to, we are not able to reinstate a cancelled order.  I apologize for the frustration these cancellations have undoubtedly caused. 

Please know I’ll be locking this thread, and any new post regarding these order cancellations on the forum will be removed.
