Hello. So I placed a pre order for Hogwarts Legacy a couple of months ago for the Xbox Series X and had $15 in Rewards and a best buy giftcard that I used towards it. New information came out that the PS5 version would have some cool features exclusive to that platform so I wanted to change it. I canceled my xbox order and was refunded the certificates and the balance on the giftcard. Now when I try to make the purchase it wont let me use the giftcard. The only thing I can think of is that the game comes with a promotional $10 e-giftcard with purchase and I read something about not being able to use a giftcard to purchase another giftcard but there are 2 issues with that. 1 being that Im not technically buying another giftcard because its being given to me for free with purchase and 2 I was able to buy the game no problem when I pre ordered the Xbox version.
Is there anyway around this so I can buy the PS5 version and pay what I was going to pay for the xbox version or am I out of luck? Sorry for the long winded post but I'm just trying to explain it as best as I can. Thank you for any information you can give me
