Hello I pre-orderd Fire Emblem Engage for the Nintendo switch January 19th 2023 the day before it came out so I'd be able to play it January 20th 2023 the day it released. That did not happen I never received an email stating that my order had gone from processing to fulfilled, instead I had to continuously check the best buy site to see if my order had progressed eventually on Monday January 23rd three days after the game came out my order went from processing to fulfilled on the best buy website. I was excited and relieved no longer worried thinking that I could simply get the code from the digital purchases section under my best buy account only to be deeply worried and unsettled as the best buy website stated that my digital code had been directly emailed to me. I immediately checked my email thinking that I might have simply missed my code if it went to my spam/junk folder or the trash; I found nothing I'd received offer emails from best buy but there was no code email to be found. I since then have contacted best buy every day only to be told through best buy chat and phone call to recheck my email and to call back after 24 hours if my code hasn't magically appeared only to be disappointed and have to waste my time to call back the next day. On some days I'm told that the following day if I call back that they'll escalate the problem but when I do call back it's the same check email's spam and trash to see if I haven't missed it while the support team regards me with suspicion as if I'm calling every day simply to cause them problems or as if I have ever caused a problem for best buy in the past. I'm posting here in the desperate hope that I will finally get some help with my problem as right now it seems as if Best Buy has simply ripped me off for my money and now has zero interest in actually trying to help me because the system says my order has been "fulfilled".

I have sent my information last night and have still not received anything back yet; I called best buy once again today and was told again for the 6th day in a row to check my spam and trash, the only new thing is that now instead of waiting for an email from Best Buy I'm now supposedly waiting for one from Nintendo as well. When I asked if they could just generate the code on their end and read it off to me they said the could was missing so they couldn't generate anything. They refuse to refund me because their system says that my order has been "fulfilled" even though the only thing that has happened is that I'm out of around $80 something dollars because I paid for the Digital version of Fire Emblem Engage and the Season pass for the game. I'm simply wasting my time hoping someone will eventually care and try and either get me the digital code or worst case scenario simply refund me so I can purchase the game from somewhere else.

I finally received my code although for anyone who isn't aware and has the same problem you may get your code in naked HTML format just copy and paste everything into an HTML viewer.
