Hey, thank you for keeping us informed and up to date! Any word on BBY Canada having anything similar? I have looked online and contacted CS but havent been able to get a definitive answer. Hoping you might know more/be able to find out.

To clarify, once your order is ready for pickup, you should receive an email with instructions on how to utilize our Curbside Pickup to get your copy of the game.  There’s always the chance that email could get lost in the corners of your spam or junk folder, so if you’ve successfully pre-ordered a copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake for in-store pickup, and your store is still open on April 9, I recommend visiting the store holding your order between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., with a valid ID, and your order number, and they should be able to assist.

Because these forums are designed for customers purchasing within Best Buy brick and mortar stores here in the U.S., or through BestBuy.com, I’ll be unable to speak to any promotions offered by Best Buy Canada.  If you have any questions regarding your Best Buy Canada pre-order, their site can be found here.

My advice, call beforehand and verify you’re coming to pick it up. I never receive an email to pick it up early. Didn’t happen with RE3 and it never happened with early late night release for any other preorder. You just need to verify the store is aware of it and doing it, get the associate’s name just in case, and then show up with the order # and ID.

That link takes you to best buy gaming events and says nothing about getting it on the 9th,it only says the game will be released on the 10th.

Because if you say you have a screenshot maybe they’ll honor it if they decided to change their minds.
