With Square Enix officially announcing an early release of their title (https://twitter.com/finalfantasyvii/status/1244538864263364608) will you also be allowing customers to pick up their pre-orders?

When I look at my order details for FFVII Remake, it says there is a shipping delay and if it isn't shipped by April 2nd, it will be cancelled. I have read that other games that were delayed had the same issue, but all of those games were delayed by months and people were receiving emails in advance. This however is 2 days away and want to make sure that you guys are aware of this and are not actually going to be cancelling people's pre-orders.

I’ve got a similar problem with Doom Eternal Collector’s Edition. Was supposed to pick up in store but the store closed due to current events. My order will auto cancel on 4/3 unless customer service steps in.

They aren't doing curbside pick-up in your area?

Unfortunately no. I got an email from BestBuy saying that my store was temporarily closed and that I could select another store for pickup or have it shipped. I was able to change the steel book to shipping (although it hasn’t actually shipped yet) but I can’t select that option for the game istepfather.

I would like to wait until my physical copy gets here, but the order still says April 10th. Square Enix has moved up the time on digital copies and has shipped physical copies from their own store. Besides the delay of shipping companies, is there any news on trying to ship early? I'd rather cancel and play digitally if it's going to be that delayed.

So I just got off the phone with support.

Im going to likely cancel my order by the end of the week. They (one person on the phone for best buy support) stated that the stores will ship them out when the store’s receive the item. That may be the actual release date or it may be later.

I truly dont understand why this is the case but it is what it is. Ill give it a couple days here and wait but seeing how other people in another thread are complaining about not getting their items on release date isnt really a glowing sign for me here

I assume ther representative would mean their warehouses versus the stores. I don't think the stores mail typically mail directly to bestbuy.com orders.

But i'm just making assumptions.
