So over a month ago I purchased the minecraft prepaid card through bestbuy's website because in the description & the back of the card says it includes a windows 10 minecraft code at redemption but I didn't get the option for the code so I contacted Mojang's customer support & the month goes by with no reply from them so I contact best buy's digital download department (on the phone because you can't contact them online) telling them this & they tell me to contact microsoft which after 3 hours Im still waiting to chat with so I look online to find out that promo is only applied to people who bought it before October 2018 & the checking the best buy website today the model number is MICROSOFT MINECRAFT 2017. I only bought the prepaid card to get both versions but I only got the java pc edition & in order to get the windows version I'd have to spend another 30 dollars.

The java one is the one you want not the windows one you can play with mods on the java one

Yeah but the java one can't play with playstation or xbox players
