Digital Code order not sent

I recently ordered a digital xbox live gift card for email delivery, roughly 4 hours ago. Despite my order status screen showing a "complete" order and that my instructions to redeem my order have been sent I have yet to recieve anything. The customer reviews cited quick delivery, often under 20 minutes. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so how would I go about having the email resent?

Literally moments after posting this I received my digital code, so my issue is cleared up and a moderator can delete this post whenever. Still, a four hour delivery for a digital code is unacceptable and I'll know for future reference to avoid Best Buy for any digital purchases when similar retailers offer the same services and complete them more efficiently

I’m sorry to hear your digital code took longer to arrive than you were expecting it to, but I’m happy to hear that your email did indeed arrive. That said, it’s disappointing to hear that this may affect your decision to order from us again in the future.


Please know that in most cases we do expect digital content to be emailed out within 1 hour of purchase, however, this may take longer in a few instances. In my experience, whenever there is a delay in digital content being fulfilled its due to payment verification and authentication taking longer than normal.


This could be caused by ordering as a guest, or if this was your first online purchase with us using a new account. If this was the case, I expect any future orders should process more quickly now that we’ve successfully verified your account and form of payment. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to post again.
