Hey there. Just checking if anyone else has received their early access codes yet for the Diablo IV beta?
The beta is 4 days away and as far as I can tell Best Buy has still not sent codes to anyone, so I was wondering what the time frame is on that, and how do we recieve our codes?
The way codes are "normally" sent by Best Buy is near release date, but that is months away, and these codes are for an early access to beta later this week, not launch DLC.
The access is right in the description of the product on the page and says:
Early Access to the Open Beta, starting March 17* and Light Bearer Mount in Diablo IV

For reference, I did get a reply from support agent saying they would send out keys by launch today I wanted to state that has not appened at all. Beta started 20 minutes ago, and no keys still. Very dissapointed that the keys were not sent days early. The fact that I can go get a beta key for this game at KFC with a chicken sandwich and yet an actual store selling the games is failing here is problematic.

Further information for anyone who is looking for a solution to this same issue and happens to check the forums.
After I did not receive my code as I should have I tried chat support. I was told to expect a code in June the games launch date, which is of course completley useless since the Open Beta which is promised as part of the pruchase is today, not June. I let the chat agent know that and he said that they will make sure I get a code and they probably need to contact the vendor and told me to call support.
I called support and the first agent told me that the digitial department will help me get the code, and transfered me to that department. They asked my name and number and I gave it then the phone system instantly disconnected on me.
I called back and asked for the digital department and the automated system directly transfered me to the correct department without needing to go through another agent first.
The person I talked to seemed aware of this problem as I expect they have recieved other calls about the exact same thing, and let me know after checking for a bit that they are working with Blizard still to get the codes as described on the product page, and it could take 24 to 48 hours at least still and once they have figured it out I will recieve an email with the code from Best Buy.
So... in the end Best Buy has completely dropped the ball on this pre-order event unfortunately and on top of that is falsely advertising right on the product page, even still, as a code 2 to 3 days after the early access has started is useless. The early access period is March 17th to March 19th, so recieving a code on March 19th is pointless as that is when the event ends.
I went ahead and just spent $3 at KFC on a sandwich and within 5 minutes I had a working beta code.
