Earlier in the evening, I received a delayed order status for my DOOM Eternal Collector's Edition for the playstation 4. Per the email Best Buy sent to me: "We will keep your order open and continue to work on getting your item(s) to you until December 21, 2019. If your item(s) are still not available by this date, we'll cancel the item(s) and notify you via e-mail."
The game is supposed to be released March 20,2020. Can someone tell me why it is going to cancelled even though it supposed to be released next year? I can only hope it is a technical glitch that will get resloved shortly!

I got an email saying my item was delayed "We're sorry, we're working on getting it to you soon. If we can't ship it by Sat, December 21, we'll let you know and cancel the order." But the release it self has been delayed. The game got pushed back until March 20, 2020. i just want to make sure my order doesn't get cancelled since this item is now sold out. I just wanted to make sure this gets updated properly with the new release date.

You indicated here that your support team said that the issue had been corrected, and that those affected would receive an email indicating it was fixed. My order was not corrected, and still says Shipping Delay. I'm worried that this will result in my order being cancelled, and would like some assistance in correcting this. I contacted chat support and while they assured me that my order wouldn't be cancelled, there's no way to be entirely sure.
How can I get this fixed properly?

Same situation here. My order still says shipping delay and I have not received the e-mail that will allegedly confirm it was fixed. Has anyone had their order fixed?
